A FEW THINGS ABOUT THE ARTIST

1. What do you do when you’re not making art? (Day job etc...).

I am a full time artist. My work ranges from working on my personal studio work, doing custom commissions whether they be portraits or murals. To answer the question in full, I am usually spending time with my family and close friends when I am not making art.

2. Why do you make art?

I make art because it is freeing. I can do whatever I want, and I am also able to touch and inspire people from all walks of life through my art.

3. What inspires you?

Life, people and nature inspire me. It can be the way a person is staring off into space that inspires a drawing, or even simply looking at a tree or a bird.

4. What/who are your influences?

I would say my uncle Dwayne was the first person to influence me in terms of making art. After that, artists such as Leonardo DaVinci, Caravaggio, Frida Kahlo, Van Gogh, Rembrandt, and countless others have influenced me.

5. If you could meet anyone dead or alive who would it be?

Bob Marley, hands down.
